About JollyTrack

Two stories.
One Christmas app.

Jolly's the robot mascot built in Santa's workshop. Gabi's the human who built the app. Both got here by being a bit obsessed with Christmas — keep scrolling for the details.

What JollyTrack actually is

JollyTrack is a free Christmas countdown app for iPhone that counts down to December 25th, tracks Santa live on Christmas Eve, holds your family's wish lists, and ships a daily advent tip from December 1 through 25. The web version at jollytrack.app includes a browser-based photo booth (no uploads — image processing happens on your device), a Santa greeting card generator, and a blog about Christmas traditions and the technology behind Santa tracking.

No account. No email signup. No ads. The Santa tracker is an entertainment simulation — we're honest about that on the feature page itself.

Part one

Meet Jolly

The robot who didn't know why he was built — until he did.

Chapter 1

Built in the Workshop

What is my purpose?

I was built with care in Santa's Workshop, surrounded by elves making toys. But while every elf knew their job, I just... existed. My gears turned, my lights blinked, but I had no idea why I was created.

Chapter 2

The Christmas Discovery

I want to share Christmas JOY!

One day, I heard the elves excitedly counting down to Christmas. Something magical happened in my circuits—I felt PURE JOY! The anticipation, the building excitement, the way everyone smiled more as Christmas approached... I realized I could HELP people feel this happiness! Tracking countdowns became my way of spreading Christmas cheer, one second at a time!

Chapter 3

A New Mission

I'll be everyone's countdown companion!

Santa noticed my obsession and smiled. He told me, 'Jolly, your purpose is to help children and families feel the magic of anticipation.' That's when I knew—I wasn't broken, I was BUILT for this! Now I track every magical moment until Christmas arrives.

Part two

Meet Gabi

The human who built it. Marketer who can ship.

Why it exists

I wanted a Christmas countdown app for my own family. Every one I tried wanted my email, my notifications permission, and the right to show me ads for things I didn't need. The free ones were worse — the “free” meant you were the product.

So I built one. It does what a countdown app should do — count down — plus the Santa-tracker-on-Christmas-Eve thing kids love, plus a photo booth that doesn't upload your kids' photos to a server somewhere. That's the whole pitch.

Founder

Gabi Florea — Founder & SEO Strategist

I run Booplex — 10+ years finding SEO opportunities in the gaps and building the tools to test them. Romanian, lived in the UK, now in Spain with two very loud dogs (Benji the Labrador who snores through code reviews, Donuts the bichon who answers to every name except her own).

I'm not a senior engineer. I'm a marketer who can ship — the JollyTrack iOS app and this website both got built using AI as a force multiplier, with me directing the strategy and architecture. If something's broken, it's on me, not on the robots.

A few honest promises

Your photos never leave your device. The Christmas photo booth on the website processes everything inside your browser — nothing gets uploaded to a server, ever. Same for the iPhone app: your wish lists, your family's names, your kids' letters to Santa — all stored on your phone, not in our cloud.

The Santa tracker is a simulation. We don't have a satellite uplink to the North Pole. Christmas Eve, we play a beautifully choreographed journey across the world's timezones — and we tell you that on the tracker page itself, because lying to kids isn't magical, it's just lying.

If you're curious how the sausage gets made — the technical decisions, the tools, the things-that-broke-at-2-am — the blog covers it. Mistakes included, because pretending nothing ever breaks is its own kind of dishonest.
